On September 13th please join Senator Norma Torres and the offices of Congresswoman Gloria Negrete-McLeod, Senator Bill Emmerson, and Assemblymembers Cheryl Brown, Mike Morrell and Curt Hagman for a town hall meeting with Covered California.
As you may know, one in four inland empire residents do not have health insurance. The goal of Covered California is to help insure the uninsured and to connect inland empire residents to more affordable health insurance coverage. Covered California was created by the state as part of its plan to implement the federal Affordable Care Act.
This special event will be held on Firday, September 13th from 2:30-4:00pm (doors open ar 2) at the California State University, San Bernardino in the College of Education Auditorium, Room 105. Copied and pasted below and attached to this email is a flyer with details and parking information. This town hall should be attended by local officials and any community leader or organization that is interested in heling to ensure all Californians can access health insurance.
